Mounting Panels

Optional mounting panels (MPL) for most of our product lines are available. These panels come in a variety of materials, gauges, finishes, protection ratings, and configurations.

Dead Front Kits

These kits provide a safety barrier and a mounting surface close to the front of the enclosure. A provision for mounting equipment while controlling access to the interior back panel. The depth from mounting surface to the door is 1.33 in. to 3.5 in. for solid doors. Various depths for window kits.

Kits include mounting brackets, grounding hardware, and steel panel painted white.

Data Packets

Thermoplastic & metal data packets provide a convenient place to store wiring diagrams, operation manuals, and other documents inside the protection of the enclosures. Thermoplastic data pockets are attached to the enclosure with adhesive. Metal packets are bolted on the door and come with mounting hardware.

Lighting Kits

Steeline offers both LED and fluorescent lighting kits. Lighting kits provide ample lighting in enclosure interiors.

Door switches conveniently turn interior lights on/off when the door is open or closed. Door switches mount on the frame and includes mounting hardware. The mounting plate is 14 gauge steel with a painted finish.

Door Stop Kits

Door stops provide a mechanical door lock in the open position. These kits are designed to fit most Steeline NEMA 12, 4, and 4X enclosures; for horizontal door applications. Door stop kits are available in both carbon and stainless steel.

Ground Bar Kits

The ground kit is Steeline's copper bar and has 10 - 20 tapped holes. The bar kit includes a mounting panel.

Drip Shields

Drip shields protect door hardware from dripping water, setting dust, and direct sunlight. Manufactured in 14 gauge steel and stainless steel. The steel drip shields are painted an ANSI 61 Gray and stainless steel shields are a #4 brush finish. Installation hardware is included.

Window Kits

Window kits are available for enclosures with protection ratings of Type 4, Type 4X, and Type 12. The kits come with a deep hinged window kit that provides a viewing window, protection, and access to components mounted on the door of the enclosures. The extra deep hinged window kit provides a 2.0 in. depth from the door to accommodate deep controls. The window is .38 in. Lexan. Easily mounted and comes with mounting hardware. The paint finish is an ANSI 61 gray for steel frames and brushed for stainless steel frames.

Leg Stand Kits

Leg stand kits are easy to install on wall mount and freestanding enclosures. Each kit includes 2 legs. The leg stand kits are manufactured in 12 gauge steel and 304/316L stainless steel. Steel leg kits are finished in an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint and the stainless steel kits are is a #4 brushed finish. these kits maintain a UL/CSA Type 4, 4X, and 12 when properly installed. Custom sizes are available.
