Engineering & Design

Before designing an enclosure for a control system, Steeline’s engineers work with customers to define all pro-ject requirements and gain a clear understanding of the application and its environment. As a result, our engineers find the most effective enclosure solu-tion for each job.

Steeline offers an extensive selection of standard, pre-engineered enclosure platforms that can be cost-effectively modified to accommodate requirements of many applications. But for special-ized control systems that may involve harsh environments, special ergonomic considerations or other unique specifi-cations, our engineers are the key to achieving the precise match of form, fit and function for your enclosure needs.

Foam-In-Place Gasket

We believe that this gasket provides a superior resilience, excellent compression recovery, and is UL approved. It has a superior adhesion to many kinds of substrate, and with no seams or joints to leak, our products have a continuous bead that provides fantastic enclosure coverage.

This unique resource allows us to apply the precision of a form-in-gasket machine to the individual requirements of our clients, meeting the exact specifications on time, every time, with the quality advantages that customers of Steeline Enclosures have come to expect.

Form-in-place gasket (thixotropic) is a two component modified polyurethane resin that serves as the ultimate gasket for various enclo-sures, including UL Type 12, 4, and 4X.

Structural Steel Racks

Structural Racks are design to your specifications with High-Strength structural steel C-Channel and/or I-Beam to support and protect your control panels.

Enclosure Insulation

Insulation requirements for the enclosure? Steeline can provide custom insulated enclosures. Energy-efficient thermal insulation composed of closed–cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded foil facers on both sides custom designed to fit your enclosure. All edges and joints are foil taped for added insulation and security.
