NEMA Type 4x enclosures also protect against windblown dust and protect against harmful effects on the equipment that you are trying to protect within in case of water (rain, sleet, snow, splashing water, and hose directed water) which will include corrosion.

The Type 4X Disconnect Enclosures from Steeline’s S Series have a UL/cUL Type 12, 13, and 4/4X protection rating. (UL File Number: E158158, IEC 60529, IP66)

Standard Enclosures
